Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care is proud to announce the promotion of Heather Hinson to Regional Patient Care Manager
Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care is a community-based organization dedicated to palliative and hospice care. They are proud to announce their new Regional Patient Care Manager, Heather Hinson. She served as the Interim Regional Patient Care Manager for the last month and recently accepted the offer of promotion. Since 2014, Heather has been the Patient Care
Coordinator leading teams to help meet the growing senior population’s needs.
“Heather Hinson is an invaluable asset to Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care team. She is remarkable and is the glue that holds the office together. We are so blessed to have her with us,” said Phillip Hill, Chief Executive Officer.
As the Regional Patient Care Manager, Heather Hinson facilitates the operating framework of Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care’s mission and philosophy, providing support to the patient care coordinator, intake coordinator, and the admission process within the agency’s assigned regions. Her responsibilities are expanded to address the training and oversight of multiple agencies. Heather ensures the clinical staff understands how to effectively communicate to each patient, Physician, and the Hospice Team’s needs. She is a knowledgeable resource providing the assigned agency’s clinical staff with the necessary tools to document certification and recertification.
Heather Hinson is an accomplished licensed practical nurse and is currently obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Regional Patient Care Manager, she works in collaboration with other members of management staff to ensure 24-hour accountability for quality, continuity, and economy of nursing care.
