OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok – July 12, 2023 – PRLog – Effective immediately, accomplished, and passionate Clinical Director, Tiffany Pine, RN has been promoted to Executive Director. She holds dual degrees in nursing and medical laboratory technology and an impressive track record of nearly two decades in the medical field. Pine’s advancement within the organization exemplifies continued effective, steady, and experienced leadership for OPHC.

Pine joined OPHC in August 2018, beginning as a Case Manager. She quickly advanced to Clinical Director, then to Regional Director of Clinical Services, before accepting her new role as Executive Director. Prior to joining OPHC, she spent a decade in home health care, supervising seven locations across two states. Pine’s early career includes working as a certified trauma nurse in a Level II Trauma Center and as a generalist in the laboratory department specializing in microbiology, virology, and parasitology.

Phillip Hill, Chief Executive Officer at HospiceServe states, “Tiffany brings a wealth of professional experience and a deeply personal commitment to hospice care. Her ascension to the leadership role of Executive Director is significant for our dedicated team. We look forward to her insightful leadership and persistence in our mission to serve.”

Pine’s progression to nursing was inspired by her grandmother, who at the age of 55, went back to school to advance from an LPN to an RN. Her dedication to hospice care is deeply personal. After Pine’s beloved grandmother developed cancer, she experienced the profound effect of hospice services firsthand. Pine adds, “My grandmother was my whole world.” After her grandmother’s passing, Pine felt compelled to devote her career to hospice. Pine continues, “My grandmother was fundamental in shaping the person I am today. After experiencing her journey through cancer and the role of hospice in her care, I felt a strong calling to this field.”

In her new capacity as Executive Director, Pine will chaperone OPHC toward its mission of delivering exceptional care and education to patients, caregivers, and communities. Her responsibilities will include ascertaining potential referral sources, fostering relationships with healthcare providers, educating about the benefits of palliative and hospice care, and ensuring the delivery of quality information to Interdisciplinary Care Teams (IDT).

Upon accepting the advancement, Pine says, “I am so grateful to have this opportunity to lead our amazing team in such an important mission. Death and dying is such a personal, beautiful experience, and I believe we are gifted the chance to be impactful at such an important part in patients’ and families’ journeys. As someone who was once in those shoes, the impact that hospice makes stays with us forever. It is such a humbling experience to know that we have the opportunity to make a difference at such a monumental time. It’s an honor to continue my career at OPHC.”

The OPHC team is excited about the transition to new leadership and eagerly anticipates the potential for growth as well as the positive impacts on our patients, caregivers, and staff.
